Biography

Andy is 22 and hails from Normanton, West Yorkshire, although is currently based in Chester. He has been performing live for over ten years, in a variety of different settings and events. Andy spent over 7 years fronting and writing material for the band She’s not Dead (www.shesnotdead.com), co-leads the wedding function band Funkzion (www.funkzion.co.uk), and professionally provides live piano music at wedding receptions, restaurants, birthday parties, and other events. He has also written and performed incidental music for several DVD releases; He Never Said (2005) (www.twelvebaskets.co.uk), the baby (2006), Dazu (2007) and The Beauty (2008).


Andy is a professional freelance musician, and his extensive repertoire and unique piano and vocal qualities create an atmosphere of sophistication and enjoyment to any establishment he plays at. Influences include: Radiohead, Muse, Ludovico Einaudi, Sigur Rós, Coldplay, The Cinematic Underground, Tom McRae and Yorkshire Tea.
