Andy is 34 and hails from Normanton, West Yorkshire, though he is now based in Chester in North-West UK. He has been performing live professionally for over 18 years, providing live piano/vocal music at wedding receptions, restaurants, birthday parties, and other events around the country.

He is a Grade 8 ABRSM pianist, and BA (Hons) graduate in Popular Music from the University of Chester.

Andy is the resident pianist at the Queen Hotel in Chester, and can be seen performing there every Friday and Saturday night in the ‘Kings Grill’. This beautiful venue has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes and serves the finest cocktails in the city, the perfect accompaniment to some live music!

Andy is also a published songwriter (https://www.resoundworship.org/song/no_greater_love) and has written and produced jingles and theme music for podcasts and video productions.

He has also written and performed incidental music for several DVD releases; He Never Said (2005) , The Baby (2006), Dazu (2007) and The Beauty (2008).

Andy’s influences include: Radiohead, Muse, Ludovico Einaudi, Sigur Rós, Coldplay, Ben Folds, Martyn Joseph, Oasis, Stereophonics and Yorkshire Tea.
